How to Tell If Monavie Is a Scam

Now that Monavie and Acai berry products in general are becoming hugely popular, it's a perfectly good time to question if Monavie is a Scam or not.

This article will cover two aspects of this question; First, whether or not the Company of Monavie is a scam, and then we'll proceed to examine its' product, too.

Monavie Inc. - Is the company a scam?

The company named Monavie, based in Utah with distributors around the world, is a very successful MLM business by anyone's standards. If you feel that all MLMs are scams then you have your answer already, Monavie is without a doubt a full-fledged MLM company and makes vast the majority of its' income selling directly to their own distributors.

It's a business model that many people cannot stomach, and it feels wrong, but Monavie and the other reputable MLMs do not hide this fact. This business model is not illegal, and as long as it's disclosed before joining, there is nothing truly wrong about it.

The Product of Monavie - Too good to be true, right?

The $40 bottles of Acai berry juice with bits of 18 other fruits mixed in are some of the most expensive, and massively-hyped fruit juice products on this planet. Despite the company Monavie posting strict compliance rules about what their distributors can and cannot say, a simple search on YouTube for Monavie will bring back thousands of videos where people swear that Monavie cured them of some ailment such as cancer or diabetes.

The 19 exotic fruits inside are very difficult to preserve. Most notably the Acai berry, which makes up the majority of the bottle, is very expensive to properly process and export without losing its' high level of antioxidants. So maybe the price isn't as heavily inflated as it appears The main problem with the product is clearly all of the extreme hype that is perpetuated by greedy and overzealous distributors.

The bottom line is that the only scam going on with Monavie is by the less-than-honest distributors out there trying to make a quick buck by hyping a good product way too much. This happens in every MLM though and should simply be viewed as a failing of that business model. To say that Monavie is a scam is to say that all MLMs on the planet are also scams.
