Basically, this type of automated lead generation systems tracks where users have been on the Internet, any Internet purchases they have made, and any interests they may have shown through Internet activity. Through special tracking software, automated leads generation companies are able to generate public information like name, address, phone number, and email address, and they then share that information with businesses who have bought in to their information gathering service. Businesses who have obtained contact information from this kind of system then have the opportunity to entice the potential customer.
In addition to using Internet services for gathering information on potential customers, some companies have shown success through advertising on the radio, television, or in the newspaper. Automated leads generation companies can help the business target residents, businesses, demographics, and interests of individuals who are potential customers in order to help a business grow. Most of these companies work on a system where the business only pays per inquiry and they actually make companies pay for the number of leads received, not for the number of ads that the company runs for your business. Even without modern methods, merchants were an important part of the communities in ancient times. "These were thy merchants in all sorts of things, in blue clothes, and embroidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with cords, and made of cedar, among thy merchandise." (Ezekiel 27:24)
