The apostle Paul did not send fancy greetings like these per se, but he did write to the churches that he helped develop and he expressed his thankfulness for each member in many of his letters. "I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making requests with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now." (Philippians 1:4-5) Paul often wrote notes of thanks and taught the disciples in the churches to do the same. "Rejoice evermore, pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."
