Full Color Brochure Printing

Full color brochure printing is generally the choice of businesses and organizations that want to put their best foot forward in advertising strategies. While it is more expensive to have multi-colored brochures printed, grabbing the attention of prospective consumers makes the extra expense worthwhile. Brochures are used by a multiplicity of groups, agencies, and individuals to promote a particular idea, service, product or agenda. This type of printed material is one of the best ways to put something in the hands of interested parties that may keep it to refer to later. It can actually be viewed as a larger sized business card with information and contact addresses. Many recipients file away brochures from many different sources in order to keep an array of information at their fingertips. As part of any broad scope marketing strategy, brochures have always been a mainstay among any group that wishes to leave a lasting impression.

Brochures can be printed in just about any format imaginable with more and more new designs being offered by trendy design companies. The typical design for full color brochure printing has been a tri-fold layout on an 8 1/2" by 11" size of paper. Traditionally, this size has provided flexible usage by both advertiser and recipient because of a conventional size that can be tucked neatly inside a notebook, shirt pocket or file jacket. There are many other sizes for brochures that are available as well, however, such as double, four fold and specially cut designs. Today's design and printing methods allows for many variations of traditional layouts for both brochures and full color catalog printing projects. Catalogues are another very important presentation tool for many businesses that offer multiple products or services.

A well written, neatly designed catalogue can provide information, prices, and optional features for many company products that can offer consumers info that can be kept at their fingertips. Catalogues are more effective if they are full color catalog printing projects because most consumers want to get a good look at the product they are interested in purchasing. While many online businesses offer online catalogues, their hard copy catalogues are appreciated and used by both Internet users and offline customers. Some companies do well to print yearly periodicals that offer the latest in a particular line of products. This type of printed material can be kept on hand by consumers or filed for future use throughout the year. Again, while online shopping carts are of growing importance for businesses world wide, there is still a huge offline market that must continually be reached.

Catalogues also come in differing dimensions and lay out design options. Since an 8 1/2" by 11" size paper is the standard in printing sizes for just about everything, many catalogues have traditionally been printed in this format. Printers that do not have to provide oversized or undersized paper cuts on either catalogue or full color brochure printing always charge less for the finished product. Typewriter sized paper is the standard by which all variations in paper sizes are measured. Most variations from there cost extra whether it is full color or not. Catalogues can be printed in many variations such as 3" x 9" or 4 1/2" x 11". These special stock sizes require extra cutting and appropriate binding methods that can cost more.

No matter what the type of advertising or marketing document a company needs, there are several basic guidelines that are helpful in planning for the most effective finished product. "Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established." (Prov. 16:3) Both full color catalog printing or a brochure project needs to be designed with the target audience in mind. Its important to grab the interest of a consumer and then draw them into the inside of the advertising or marketing copy. Any marketing copy should be easy to read, informative and helpful. While brochures are generally designed to provide just enough information to pique the target audiences interest regarding a product or service, a catalogue should help them get right to the point in finding the suggested product or service.

Another thing to keep in mind during the planning stages of a printed project is to make sure that the layout is appealing to the reader. Printed material that is so jam packed with content that a reader gets lost in the maze of information is not as effective as one that is layed out with lots of white space. White space strategically placed within well written bites of information is much more attractive and useful to clients whether it is a full color catalog printing project or a simple brochure. There are many printing options besides four color that are available as well such as one, two and three color.

A one color project can actually provide a rather appealing print job if well designed because of the ability to add various shades within the one color. This method makes a project appear to have more than one color and is also very inexpensive. While this cheaper alternative to full color brochure printing can be a viable option for small organizations, companies that want to make the best of a first impression would do well to get comparative pricing for multi-colored print projects. Advertising and marketing tools such as catalogues, brochures, business cards, letterheads and a multiplicity of other printed aids are immensely helpful in promoting any company's business interest.
