"IPHONE Girl" a worker with the domestic iPhone manufacturer has been named the most beautiful worker in China only six days after her pictures appeared on a new iPhone in Britain.
The young woman is with the Foxconn Technology Group in Guangdong Province, the Southern Metropolis Daily reported today. But the report did not name her.
A UK buyer calling himself markm49uk said in an online iPhone and iPod Touch Forum he found some pictures on his brand new iPhone when he activated it on August 20.

Netizens were attracted by her smile and soon named her "iPhone girl." The story and her picture spread quickly through foreign and domestic Websites.
Chinese netizens said she was a worker with Foxconn, which manufactures Apple's iPhone and said she had been dismissed after the pictures were published.
Foxconn yesterday admitted the girl was an employee but said she had not been dismissed. Foxconn said the worker may have taken pictures to test the iPhone but had forgotten to delete them later. The company did not offer any further information.
Because the company employs thousands of women, the newspaper said it had so far failed to identify the "iPhone Girl."
