Instant approval credit cards are a big temptation for many people whose desires are out of their cash reserves' limits. A person can find options online, at a local department store, and through direct mail offers. Young people, especially, are targeted by major charge card companies through enticing advertisements offering an instant approval credit card.

Some people believe that using any kind of financing is unwise. They would advise people to avoid falling prey to the lure of an instant approval credit card. Young people who have no experience with buying this way and paying these bills may be prone to developing dangerous habits if they apply for and use every offer that comes their way. The advertisements usually show the advantages and perks of credit without clearly exposing the possible drawbacks and consequences. Much of the debt crisis that plagues young people in our society is likely due to the escalating use of instant approval credit cards without appropriate concern for paying off the balances.

However, for people who do know how to manage their debt and pay off their balances each month, this option can be a good idea. Department stores often offer special promotions for their instant approval credit cards whereby if approved, a certain discount is granted, say ten or twenty percent, off of that day's purchases. If a person is planning on making a large purchase, the discount may be worth the effort of applying for an instant approval credit card. Similar perks are offered by the larger credit companies also in an effort to get someone to apply.

Read the fine print of all offers, including the restrictions, limitations, terms, and fees. God expects His people to use money wisely, since it is really His money that He has granted stewardship of. Ask God for wisdom in all financial dealings and he will reveal his will. "I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye," (Psalm 32:8)

Many experts advise that, although this type of spending not necessarily bad, making any kind of financial decision on an impulse is probably not wise. If a person knows they will be applying for credit to make a large purchase, research the best instant approval credit card offers beforehand. Apply before actually needing it so that there is no temptation beyond what a person can actually handle financially.
