Top Five Reasons not to Use Non-Fat to Lose your Tummy

There are a lot of myths about how Moms should burn the baby fat. The biggest myths stem from what "diet" new Moms should go on. The secret is not to diet at all!

1. Not Eating all day Lowers your Metabolism.

If you are starving yourself your body will think it's not getting the energy it needs. Your metabolism slows down to conserve energy and when you finally put some food into your stomach, your body will store that energy as fat because it needs to conserve its energy as a means of protection. Thus, in order to lose your tummy you should have six small healthy meals a day to keep your energy high and your metabolism always burning calories.

2. Not all Carbohydrates are Bad.

Not all Carbs are bad. If you take Carbohydrates out of your diet completely you are depriving your body of an essential food group. Try and get some healthy whole grains in your diet and it will help with losing the pregnancy weight.

3. Sugar isn't a Good substitute for Fat.

Remember to read the labels when shelling out the green for those "green" products. In order to lose your tummy make sure that you aren't replacing low fat with high sugar "protein bars" and snacks.

4. Beverages the Secret Bad Stuff.

Some of the highest calorie foods are actually drinks. Frappacinos and Lattes have hidden fats. You aren't doing yourself a favor to lose your tummy by skipping a meal and having a drink.

5. Breakfast is Best.

If you want to lose your tummy you must get in that first meal of the day! If you skip breakfast your metabolism will stay sluggish and you will burn less calories throughout the day. Be careful however, because some breakfast staples like cereal have plenty of hidden sugars. Also heavy portions of Bacon can add unwanted fat. Opt instead for the power smoothies, eggs or lean turkey meats to start off your day.

Losing the pregnancy weight shouldn't be hard. With these 5 steps things become simple to losing the baby fat. Combined with exercise and a healthy mindset you can bust the myths of dieting and lose your tummy.
