The more opt-ins you get the bigger your email list. A big responsive email list can set you up for life. Or at least for a long time to come.
One of the problems business owners have is generating leads or website opt ins. A glance at their website tells me the story. They don't know the process.
The purpose of this article is to reveal a simple strategy proven to boost opt-ins. I'll give you the basics. Plus, copy you can model for a squeeze page.
You need to understand why people opt-in to email lists. Once you know why, it's easy to engineer a proper lead capture process. People get on lists because they believe the list owner provides good info. No one has the time or inclination to opt-in to lists they are not interested in.
My suggestion is give them free info that solves a problem they have. The info can be a free PDF, MP3 audio or video.
That's how you deliver value.
The other thing is, make it a cinch to get on your list. Don't ask for too much personal info. Your best bet is to just get their email address. That's it.
Third, in addition to the free report or whatever, make sure the prospect knows you'll be sending periodic emails. Otherwise, people will join your list just for the freebie. Then they unsubscribe. Keep them on the list by offering a free ezine along with the free report. This is just basic lead generation marketing.
