Credit rating checks are available from many financial companies offering reports on consumer histories and scores. Many of these companies not only offer a credit rating check but also can provide customers with a monitoring service that will inform them of any activity regarding their financial status. People who would like to know what companies are inquiring about their financial history and if changes have recently occurred, can find many online companies that offer these services for people's convenience and protection.
All companies that specialize in reporting financial transaction histories and scores receive information from the three main consumer reporting agencies. These three reporting bureaus maintain and update the financial histories of all American consumers. Those who have received any type of unsecured or secured loans or who have opened any line of credit at any time in their lives are subject to a credit rating check. It is a mammoth undertaking to offer an accurate check, and is regulated by these three main agencies. Trans-Union, Experian TRW and Equifax are responsible for providing financial institutions, companies, employers and many other parties access to credit rating checks that require a consumer's financial history.
Many companies offer this service to consumers who want to keep an eye on their financial transaction history. It is suggested that consumers should check these reports at least once a year and preferably bi-yearly in order to circumvent any problems that can occur from a mistake in a credit rating check. An inadvertent error can cause a consumer to be denied a loan for many important things such as cars, homes and necessary personal loans. Therefore, people should make sure that the sources from which financial credit rating checks come are accurately reported. For a reasonable monthly fee, many financial companies offer automatic updating to customers to let them know what has occurred on individual reports from any of the three agencies.
Another valuable feature offered to consumers is that the companies can relay any activity that has occurred on a financial report. Therefore, anytime their report is requested by a loan company, leasing office or mortgage broker, the customer will be notified. If people have ongoing dealings with financial institutions, it may be a wise move to secure the services of a company that can provide credit rating checks and activities relating to their credit report. "He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand; but the hand of the diligent maketh rich" (Proverbs 10:4).
