The Future Of High Definition Gaming

If you are a gamer, you know about the PS3, and if you are a serious gamer, you know about the hottest in PC gaming as well. Both bring together high definition graphics, and hours of game time. Most games that can be played online, will feature a several player multiplayer option; which leaves room for 10 or even hundreds of players to all team up together. In 2006, the PS3 rocked the gaming world by featuring super powered graphics, a giant hard drive, as well as blue ray disc compatibility. PC games have always been popular, but as time progresses they gain speed.

The PS3 comes in a 20 GB, 40 GB and 60 GB models. The Play Station 3 also offers a blue ray disc compatibility that other systems do not offer. A PS3 can have better graphics than some computers! Its no wonder PS3 games take a long time to develop and come out with beautiful graphics and breathtaking sound.

One of the most popular games for PS3 this year is Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. It features one of the most popular characters, Snake. For those of you not familiar with the Snake and Metal Gear series, it is a stealth action video game, where the goal is to remain as stealthy and unnoticeable as possible. Metal Gear Solid takes place at the end of Snakes life, and he has to fight for what he thinks is right. There are 5 "Acts" and an epilogue and debriefing. The game comes with many surprises and shocking events.

PS3 games continue to please users, and with a host of new games coming out this fall and Christmas season, it is sure to gain even more popularity.

PC games are not new on the market, but the PC has evolved since the late 80s when PC games became popular. They went from simple graphics and text based plots, to having in depth plot lines and serious graphics. PC monitors can now come in up to 80 inch screen sizes, or more if you choose. This makes any PC gaming system the ultimate dream for gamers. Over time, newly produced PC games can only get better.

Most recently a revolutionary game based on biology and evolution was released. Spore has shaken the gaming world with the awesome PC graphics, as well as very entertaining playability. You start off as a small creature, and evolve into a massive monster, or a friendly giant, or you can choose to stay small. You can control DNA, and change everything completely.

As technology grows, the gaming opportunities also grow. PS3 creators promise great things in the future, such as massive online play games that will change the way you look at multiplayer games. PC gaming will continue to evolve for a long time to come, and the gaming only gets better.
