The Natural Organic Choice in Beauty Products

By Jemma Rivera

Were you aware of the fact that we breathe through our skin? Yes we do, at least partially. And since that means taking good care of your skin translates into taking good care of your body, we might take it that healthy skin is an indispensable part of looking and feeling great. What would you use to pamper your skin- organic skin care ingredients? Or artificial ones?

Natural, organic skin care products are the obvious choice for keeping your skin healthy. Despite what you may have heard, these products are widely available and affordable. And of course, if you are willing to make your own organic skin care products using natural ingredients, then the cost is even more reasonable and the results even more wonderful.

Organic skin care products have the advantage, when compared to artificial ones that they are readily absorbed by the skin, are efficiently metabolized and are non-toxic. Using these products properly can prevent some skin problems and keep your skin looking younger and healthier for a longer time. You will need to educate yourself about the proper use of these products. There are many different such products on the market and the variety available may surprise you.

One of the best things about using certified organic skin care products is being able to feel good about pampering yourself while at the same time doing something good for the environment. You have probably heard by now about all of the harm which the chemicals used in artificial skin care products can do to your skin and the environment alike. Look at it in this way: natural skin care has been used for a long time; for most of human history, natural skin care was the only kind available. Wouldn't it be great to keep up this practice while helping to protect the environment?

Natural, organic products are better for your skin all around; they are safe and gentle, good even for sensitive skin. To get the best results form organic skin care, you should also change your lifestyle and diet to include plenty of exercise, drinking lots of water and eating a healthy diet rich in fruits and vegetables. If you can, stay out of the sun ? and if this is not a possibility, use sunscreen to protect your skin.

One of thee better known (and one of the best all around) is Aloe Vera. This plant is very good for your skin due to its soothing and antiseptic qualities. You can use essential oils for moisturizing your skin ? but they should always be mixed with massage or aromatherapy oils, since they are too strong to be put directly on your skin.

There are a number of reasons why people choose organic products over artificial ones. Some want to limit their impact on the environment, others like it that the products are safe and gentle. Still others see that they have not been tested on animals.

When you choose a certified organic product, you will not be exposing yourself to the hazardous chemicals and additives present in synthetic, artificial skin care products.

You skin is the largest organ in your body and it suffers the most due to pollution and stress. It is time you took good and gentle care of it. Go for certified organic skin care products. Pamper yourself without harsh chemicals and see the difference!
