Perception is Key to Digitial Photography

Editing digital photography requires perception, something what we call color perception, situational perception, and a passion for change. The basic editor requires not such a heavy set passion for photography. A little need for a better output, a few more dollars, a thirst for praise and appreciation like "hey guy! U did this - don't tell me kind of."

Well at last are you working towards your childhood dream of a renowned photographer. Editing need not necessarily start after shooting the picture. It starts from the point for deciding to take the picture. Using the tons of options in your digital camera, from setting the flash right, timing, adjusting the mode are all digital photography editing concepts. What you do sitting in front of the computer is graphics! You see because you start working on transplanting the image with your own ideas and requirement, which is not really the original picture.

The digital editing can work out a magic. It can bring back to life the old photographs of your mom and dad, from their own school days, as teenagers, which lay up in the attic. They can be revived and enhanced and put for display in your drawing room. Little tricks like scanning them, transferring them to your PC, downloading a free photo editor, changing the color of your dad's coat and mom's frock by yourself you see is a lot of excitement.

It is very, very important to take a good image from the digital camera for proper editing. Editing can be done for enhancement and a little touch up here and there, but when you don't use the basic keys properly you may not land up with a digital image, you may land up with a digital graphic! See natural image with little changes is what all of us desire.

Well there is a 1-2-3 step for the beginning editor. For example you have shot your favorite pet. How do you edit the picture. Enlarge the pet's image first. If it is on the grass or on the tile, and you feel there are any undesirable objects which you may not want in the picture delete it and patch the place with a copy paste of the surrounding tile or grass. If you plan to take a print out adjust the resolution based on the size of the photo frame and here you goyou have started to edit.

Have fun with you picture. On side of photo editing on a computer is animated gif. You can take your photos and make them come to life. Making a moving butterfly in the background of a mountain shoot is awesome. Wow you friends and family next time you upload a photo to your blog from you latest family vacation.

Simple patching and color intensity adjustment, image resolution adjustment, increasing the size, decreasing the size of the image, zoom in, zoom out are all the very many options available in digital photography. Editing photographs can be practiced as leisure. A little love for images will keep you long hours editing digital photographs happily.
