Phone Interviewed Leads vs Long Form Leads

By David Lawrence

Long Form Leads do cost less than Phone Interviewed leads, often much less. People regularly ask me if it is worth paying the extra money for the Phone Interviewed lead. Here is my thought process on choosing which mlm lead type to use.

Let's focus on ROI as the answer to your question. By splitting ROI into 2 different categories you will begin to understand which lead type will be the best for you. 1) Time - How much time do you have to contact the leads? 2) Money - Your marketing budget. What type of a return on your investment would you like to see?

Basically you need to first realize how a Phone Interviewed Lead is obtained. It takes a call center representative and average of 20 to 30 calls to regular internet generated leads in order to interview and qualify one Phone Interviewed Lead .

The live call center operator is really doing all the grunt work. the operator has to go through uninterested people, bad numbers, wrong numbers, people who are hesitant in picking up the phone to talk to a stranger, and many other variables in order to reach the live person that will go through the interview process and is interested in being followed up about a business opportunity.

Let's focus on the Time category of the ROI subject. If Time is of importance to you, it maybe beneficial to pay the extra money for the Phone Interviewed Lead and have all the initial grunt work done for you by the call center. Do you see yourself making 20 plus calls to find someone interested about you business?

However, if your bottom dollar is the determining factor in what kind of lead you want to purchase, a little tracking will need to be done.

If Money is your focus and you know you will be able to convert enough prospects into your opportunity, then you may want to try the Long Form Leads. By converting enough people you may be able to spend less on leads for a higher amount of returns in commissions. Thus, increasing your ROI. Keep in mind that you will have to make more calls to the same amount of contacts then you would with a Phone Interviewed Lead.

Let's bring you back to thinking ROI. It will be important for you to know how much each single lead is truly costing you. If you have to purcharse a significantlly larger amount of Long Form Leads to have the same results and thus spending more money, then you may need to try the Phone Interviewed Leads

A balanced approach between time and money is my advice to you. Test both lead types and find your cost per lead. Find how much time and energy you spent with each lead type in order to achieve similar results.
