Drive thru coffee franchises are an excellent investment, but do not let the proliferation deceive anyone into thinking they are guaranteed to be earning great money right away. If a person is interested in opening one, there are a number of things to research before deciding which one to buy. Ranging from $175,000 to over $250,000, drive thru coffee franchises are a big investment.
The return on this type of business is significant considering the investment; owners can expect to make around $150,000 a year off a successful business of this kind. The second factor to consider is location. There are seven factors to look for when determining a drive thru coffee franchise location: on the morning side of the road, a traffic count above 15,000 cars per day, next to schools, next to banks, next to events centers and in a high income neighborhood.
The average drink price of beverages is estimated to be $2.70. The target amount of drinks to sell is 300 cups per day. That brings in almost $900 a day when the drive thru coffee franchise is at its peak. The owner can expect to pocket about a third of that after the fees, supplies and rents have been paid. If the idea interests a person, and has a significant amount of money to invest, they may get a better deal if opening multiple locations. Often a franchise will discount the second or third location if a person is buying multiple units because that means less training on the part of the franchise. The options range from self-contained units that stand 8x8 ft to units that are larger, but still compact, that include a small bathroom and demand city water supply. Drive thru coffee franchises include training, site location, and help securing financing in the cost of the package. Genesis 5:29 says "And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord hath cursed."
The benefit of this is evident, but the place where it is most appreciated is in regard to site location. Many towns and cities on the East coast are still unfamiliar with the concept, so they do not know how to regulate or approve the buildings needed for the business. Drive thru coffee franchises are a great opportunity to own a business. The franchise company will sit down with the planning board, present plans and arrange for all the permits. A drive thru coffee franchise needs to be worked like any other business; it takes a lot of time, commitment and dedication.
