Everyone wants their body to look great all the time but when age sets in and we get older our bodies develop imperfections called cellulite. Cellulite is formed when the toxins and fats we consume make their way into our connective tissue. They will get trapped there and harden leaving you with pockets that look like dimples showing on the outside of your thighs. Once people learn that they have it, they can look for ways to get rid of cellulite.
You will often hear on television or on the internet that the best way to combat cellulite is to use the newest magic lotion or potion. The plain hard truth is that there are no magical creams or brushes that will rid your body of cellulite. The only effective way to remove the cellulite from your body is through cellulite exercise.
Cellulite exercise uses weights to target the fat within your problem areas. These work outs will help you increase your circulation which helps carry the fat and toxins from your system. It also helps firm up your muscles in the problem areas, which smooths out the unsightly bumps and dimples. You will be able to notice the effects by observing your skin tightening and watching the bumps disappear.
The first thing you should do is to start massaging the areas on your body that are affected by cellulite. This helps increase your circulation to that area which in turn promotes the fat removal from your system. The best way to massage these areas is by gently rubbing the area with a body brush while you are in the shower.
One great exercise that will help increase your circulation and tighten your muscles is to do leg lifts on your knees. To start this work out, you will need to place your hands and knees on the floor. Then you will need to lift one leg up in a backwards motion, hold it for five seconds and then place it back down. You should try to complete 3 sets of 15 reps for each leg.
Another exercise that you need to try is leg lifts, by lying down on your stomach. All you need to do is lie down on your stomach and tuck your hand underneath your head. You will then lift one leg up and hold it in that position. While still up in the air you will want to rotate your foot three to four times and then place your leg back down. You should try to accomplish 3 full sets that consist of 15 repetitions for each leg.
A further exercise that you need to do is to tighten your buttock and thigh muscles while you are sitting on a stable chair that has no rollers. You begin by sitting on a secure chair and placing a pillow in between your legs. You will then need to squeeze this pillow as hard as you can for one minute by tightening up your thigh muscles along with tightening your buttock muscles. You should try to accomplish 3 full sets that consist of 5 repetitions.
Finding out that you have cellulite in some unwanted areas can be very embarrassing for some people. After covering it up by making a change in wardrobe, many will try to get rid of this ugly fat by using some potions and lotions which will ultimately not work. Their only option is to try to get rid of cellulite with some massaging that expels the toxins and some exercising that flattens out the skin. You will find if you implement these exercise tips into your daily routine, you can get rid of the cellulite and get back to wearing the clothes you love.
